Easton has a special ability to make anything that he does as messy as humanly possible. I realize most 4 year old boys are messy, but I am pretty sure Easton has everyone beat. I have to clean up after Easton way more than I ever do with Ty. It truly baffles me how messy he gets.
So I guess I should know better than to let him paint. Because that is a messy activity even without Easton involved. But he loves it, so I do.
Things always start off innocently enough...
(Take a look at those nice, clean paints in the corner)
But it quickly goes downhill from there...
(remember what those paints looked like?)
A nice little smear across the face is a good addition.
Oh yeah, and then he did this...
And so...
that is how you get paint in your nose.

He's funny! You're brave to let him paint. I haven't let Jantzen do that yet...I'm afraid of what will happen.
I have Kayden so I completely understand- he leaves a trace of everything he is done throughout the day.
My kids supply of paints ran dry awhile ago and I just keep forgetting to get more- I am just so forgetful.
Laney is like that...she makes everything a disaster.
My sister got Gavin and Laney finger paints a while back...I laughed at her and told her that those would never get used at our house. I don't care how washable they are. They make a mess and I already have enough of those to clean up. They are still sitting in there package. Untouched.
Wow, he does have quite a talent of being messy!!You are a better mom then I am... I don't let my kids do stuff like that just for that reason. I hate cleaning up more then I already have to. Extra Mom points for you!!!!!
