Profile...

I will let the picture speak for itself...

and no, I don't style his hair to do that--it miraculously does that on its own!

We did give him a bit of a trim on Sunday-I just can't bare to cut it all just yet!
Can you tell the difference??

Just So Cute...

I finally got a video of Ty laughing...He laughs all the time, except for when I bring out the camera! Today he thought Easton was funny...

And here is a video of just a sample of a conversation I have with Easton on a day to day basis...

A Trip to the Fair...

This last weekend we went to the Clark County Fair with our friends, Blake & Erin and their two kids Aiden & Hannah. We got rained on a little bit, but it was worth it...Easton had the time of his life!
Here are the two buddies...Easton & Aiden

First, they rode some rides...

Then we saw some animals...

Ty just chilled in his stroller!

and then Easton got to ride a pony! What a day!

Here are some videos of Easton riding the pony...

Happy Easter! 2009

I tried to get a good picture, but this will have to do! We were running late to church and Ace said we could take some after church, but I had a feeling that neither of them would be as clean after church so I snapped a few quick pictures... I was right! Ty had the biggest blow out of his life while at church--got to love that!

Easter was very relaxing this year. It was just our little family, so we had a small egg hunt for Easton, and had some yummy food! What more do you need!

Cute Boys...

Poor Ty...I'm afraid this is only the beginning!

Easton the Artist...

For a long time now, Easton has been really into drawing. He prefers a pen (heaven forbid I offer him a crayon)! Back before Halloween Easton colored his first thing (a sun) closely resembling what it actually would look like and told me what it was. Then he started to draw people, which is so fun to see the details they notice. But now we are way past that and onto animals. Particularly dinosaurs and octopuses (I'm not sure if that is correct plural for octopus). Anyway he drew this page during conference-- the top two are dinosaurs ( the one on the right was explained to me as "the dark dinosaur", the little squiggles in the middle are snakes. The one on the bottom left is the "daddy dinosaur" and the bottom left is an octopus. I find it very random that he thinks to put a dinosaur and a octopus together, but I love that he learning so much and I get to watch him pick up these fun skills!!

All the Single Leelee's...

Just couple funny stories about Easton...
A little background first...my mom's nickname has always been "Leelee" everyone calls her this. In fact, I find it incredibly weird when someone calls her Carolee (her real name). So it only seemed natural when Easton started calling her "Grandma Leelee" he even just calls her Leelee a lot of the time.

Anyway, yesterday I had the song "All The Single Ladies" by Beyonce in my head, so as I was cleaning the kitchen I started to sing this song. A lot of the time when I do this Easton will sing along, but yesterday was extra cute because instead of singing "all the single ladies" he was saying "all the single Leelees"!!

The best part is that my mom is single...so if anyone knows a fabulous guy for her let me know :)
Isn't she cute!!

Another quick story that happened yesterday...

We went over to the park to play and Easton was wearing his fantastic shark sunglasses. The sprinklers were on over on the grass next to the park. Easton was running around and apparently couldn't tell through his glasses that the sprinklers were going because he ran right into the spraying water. It sprayed him in the face and he was so shocked by it that he turned around and got beamed in the face again by another one! Luckily, after the initial shock he thought it was pretty funny...

I'm not gonna lie...I really just sat there laughing hysterically!
Stylin' !

Who's Who?

So I know that Ty looks a lot like Easton did when he was a baby. Lately I've been going through some of Easton's pictures and thought I would see how much they actually look alike! Here are some pictures...do you see the resemblance?

They both have/had very sweet personalities. Easton and Ty so far have been fairly easy babies. They have both started sleeping through the night very early on and only cry when they are hungry. Believe it or not (for the people who see Easton on a regular basis) Easton was a very content baby and so is Ty. I was a little afraid to have our second baby because I was afraid that I got spoiled with Easton and I was going to get it 10 fold with Ty, but he has been great as well (which means the third child might be insane :) ). Although the boys do look alike and have the same temperament, there are some differences.

Easton was a spitter-upper! EVERY time he ate he spit up. Ty doesn't spit up--this took us a while to get used to because although he doesn't spit up his burps sound like it is going to be 'bad' and we were so used to it with Easton Ace and I would both panic every time Ty burps! We are getting better though!

Ty doesn't prefer to be in the car, while Easton loved it.

Ty doesn't really cry, it sounds like he is having a pity party for himself just whimpering. Easton didn't really ever cry but when he did he CRIED!

Easton had a problem with peeing on us EVERY time we changed his diaper. Ty has only done it once or twice! Hooray!

Ty likes to be cuddled or just near someone, Easton preferred to be on the floor stretching and playing.

Easton HATED the little vibrating function on his bed and bouncer, he would rather just sit there the vibrating bugged him. Ty LOVES it!

And my favorite...Easton has a small birthmark on the back of his left arm, and Ty has a birthmark on his left butt cheek!!

In case you couldn't tell... #'s 1, 4, 7, 6 are Ty and #'s 3, 2, 5, 8 are Easton
