Funnest Preschool Week Ever!

So this last week has probably been my favorite week of preschool that I have ever done so I thought I would post about it! It was a lot of fun to be able to talk about Christmas --I wasn't allowed up at school so I took major advantage of it!

On Tuesday I did an entire day on the book, "The Polar Express"! It was a blast! I had all of the children come to school in their pajamas. Then they were given a ticket to board our polar express train (I just had the chairs lined up like a train)

After everyone was aboard the train I used a book on CD to read the book (it had all of the train sound effects and voices so it kept the kids attention a lot better than me). When the story was over I "accidentally" bumped a chair and all the children discovered there was a silver bell under their chairs! We then sat and had Hot cocoa and chocolates just like in the book! Such a fun day! Thursday was our last day at preschool until January so we had our Christmas party! We read the book, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and made an ornament for the parents. Then, the best part of all...Santa came to our class and gave everyone a present! The kids went crazy when Santa got there and they were all so excited to get a present from the Big Guy himself!! You can click on this picture to see everyone with Santa... P.S--does Santa look a little familiar to anyone?? If he does, I will tell you that it took a WHOLE lot of persuasion and I was told that I wasn't allowed to take pictures...but honestly, who could resist this?!?!
