Mt. Charleston Camping Trip!
This last weekend we got to go camping with our friends Blake, Erin, and Aiden! It was a ton of fun...we are planning to go again in September! We want to stay a bit longer next time, because we only got to stay one day! This was our first camping trip as a family...needless to say Easton had a blast...he probably fell into the dirt at least 15 times...there was no stopping him! It was also nice to get away because it was about 20 degrees cooler up there than in Las Vegas! It probably was in the 50's that night (which is cold to us!!)
Random Things...
Here are some things that Easton has been up to lately...
he LOVES shoes! He is constantly trying to put everyone else's shoes on! He even through a fit when I tried to take his shoes off so he could take a nap! Click on this picture for more!!
Also, Aiden gets to come back and play more often--these two get along so well!
They are constantly playing with the same toy, but it rarely bothers them! They have a lot of fun together!

Happy 3rd Anniversary!
Ace and I had our 3rd Wedding Anniversary on Sunday! We celebrated on Saturday--We got a babysitter for Easton and Ace took me to my favorite restaurant, Olive Garden, and then surprised me by taking me on the 'Speed the Ride' roller coaster at the Sahara Casino (I had never been on it before) The roller coaster was a blast! We got a pass that let us go as many times as we wanted--the pass also let us do this NASCAR virtual racing thing--I was not too excited about this one as I am not the best at any kind of video game! It did look fun though--everyone gets their own race car to drive, and you have a big screen in front of you, your car moves around and you feel everything that happens. You race everyone else in their cars. Although it sounded fun, it made me really dizzy and all I did was crash into the walls because I was going too fast around corners! It made Ace sicker than I was (which doesn't happen often) so that is when we decided to go home! Other than that it was a great night and we both had a lot of fun! I can't believe it has already been three years! So much has happened since then!
- We both graduated!
- We had Easton
- We moved from Rexburg to Las Vegas
- Ace got a job with Centex
- We bought a house
- We got our dog Penny
- I am starting my own preschool
- And tons of other stuff that would take too long to list!!

Easton & Corbin!

Our Trip to Utah!
We had a really fun trip to Utah this past weekend! We got to see both our families! The only bad part of the trip was on the way up when Easton PUKED all over! It was revolting!! So we got to smell puke the whole way up--what fun!! Anyway here are some pictures of us up at the Casper Family's Cabin! Oh by the way, we have a new addition to the Casper family---Ryan just got engaged to his girlfriend Rebecca on Thursday! We are all excited for them and looking forward to a wedding in October!!

First day of Nursery...Yippe!...I think...
Sunday was Easton's first day of Nursery! I have been counting down the days since he was six months old! I couldn't wait! Let's just say Easton is a child full of energy, and usually halfway through sacrament meeting I am thinking "hasn't it been three hours yet..." So you could imagine my excitement on Sunday! Then as soon as we drop him off I get this sudden surge of nervousnes "wait...those people in their know nothing about him...they don't know how to take care of him" I begin to have a panic attack! I stood looking through the peep hole for about five minutes making sure he was okay...by the way he was fine--just sitting there playing with some puzzles, never even noticed that we left! Ace finally dragged me to Sunday School and proceeded to hold me down so that I couldn't go check on him! After Sunday School I ran to check through the peep hole again to see him happy as can be playing with his toys! I finally think, "okay he is fine...I can relax now!" So I go to Relief Society a little calmer than before, although everytime the door opened I would whip my head around to see if it was a nursery leader with Easton! But that never happened! After church was over I calmly walked over to get him and to my dismay--he had tears chalked down his face and a nursery leader was holding him! As soon as he saw me he burst into tears again as if to say, "where have you been I can't take this anymore" The nursery leader then told me that he had been upset for the last half hour of the time! I could't believe that I had finally calmed down about the whole thing and that is when he decided to freak out about it! I still think that it was harder on me than on him though!! Well anyway one of the nursery leaders did say that he did really well for his first time in there. We will see what happens next time! Easton is in the Dog House...Literally!!
The other day I found Easton inside Penny's kennel for some odd reason only known to him! I really don't have much else to say about this event other than I put him directly in a bath after this! 
The Inside Looking Out...
Whenever Penny is outside Easton stands at the door like this just watching her until I let him out! Today I couldn't let Easton outside because Ace was laying tile in our house and they were cutting the tile on the porch...and so Easton stood there dreaming of the day he would again be able to go outside!! Notice his foot resting on top of his other foot---he does this everytime!!!

Bucket O' Toys!
One of Easton favorite things to do is climb in and out of things: baskets, laundry (clean, folded clothes mind you), cupboards, and his newly found favorite...his stuffed animal bucket! He climbs in this at least once a day and sits their for five minutes at a time looking at all of the animals--he is one crazy kid...but we love him!! 
Macoroni & Cheese Expedition...
Easton has been doing really well with eating on his own...so I thought I would see how he did eating macaroni and cheese by himself...he did good until he got to the bottom of the bowl...I looked over and he it up to his mouth like he was trying to drink the rest of it!! I was too slow to catch that on the camera but I did get the after effects!!
Our Rainy Day!
Yesterday it RAINED!!! Now, this may not be exciting for anyone, but I don't remember the last time I saw a good rainstorm! And I don't think Easton has ever seen one! Yesterday morning at around 7:00 am I woke up to thunder.. and a few seconds later pouring rain! I jumped out of bed and ran and woke up Easton (in Las Vegas generally a storm only lasts around 5 minutes so I felt a bit rushed to make sure Easton saw it...although it continued to rain throughout the day so my efforts were shot), took him outside and we played in the rain until it stopped! Easton of course loved the entire concept and could have stayed there all day long!! Click on the picture for more!!
