Easter & Conference

Easter was great this year.  On Saturday, Ryan and Rebecca threw a great Easter/birthday celebration for my cute little nephew, Tate!Holy smokes! Look how cute he is!

Of course there was an egg hunt…

We trapped Ellie and Tate on the Trampoline with their own eggs so as not to get attacked by the big kids

They were all happy with their big ol’ loot Now, it’s time for our Annual Cousin Easter Picture Shoot…Way to go kids! Way to go.

Then, we colored eggs…I don’t know what Corbin is up to in this picture…but I assure you he’s fine.

The next morning was Easter, and the Easter bunny treated us real well!Oh that hair.She had to wear everything in her basket.

And now, for round 2.  The Annual Easter Sunday picture… First we tried to do it outside.That went well enough.

Then we headed inside to try again…So that’s how that went.

Then all of my family came over for Easter Dinner.  And it was a party.

Had one more little hunt.And tried for some more family shots.  Why, you ask? I haven't got a clue.Look. At. Us.

Happy Easter.

Then General Conference Weekend was the best Ever.  My dad got us a 4 bedroom room(basically a condo) at the Escala Lodge in Park City.  Jesse and Lauren sang in the restaurant, We ordered room service and lounged around in our pjs all day long, listening to the Prophet.  Fan-tistically-tastic.

Awesome weekend.  Thanks again to Dad, and to Claudia!

Should I Be Concerned...

That my 3 and a half year old son begs and begs for the baby food meant for his 6 month old brother

And Ty, on the other hand, is much happier with a baby food facial than actually eating it

When I first started feeding Ty baby food, Easton was so curious about it. I had the marvelous idea to let him try a bite (baby food peas, mind you), and he would never be interested again...but instead, he loved it, and when I say "loved it", I mean LOOOVVVED it. Then to correct myself I thought he would hate the carrots. Nope. Wrong again. So now he asks me what kind it is and then says, "Please Mommy, can I try Ty's yummy food, please?"

So now I am the Mean Mommy that forces all the "yummy" food on Ty who doesn't even want it, and neglects Easton with, you know, real food...
perhaps I should puree all of Easton's food.

One Year Older...

Last Sunday was my birthday...the kids were sick so we tagged teamed church, but we had some chocolate cake that made things better.

Again, Easton tried to blow out my candles before me...I had to move quickly!

One of my favorite things about any holiday, really are the homemade cards that I get from Ace. He always colors a beautiful picture on the front and I love them! He didn't want me to put this on the blog, but how could I not!

I was even lucky enough to get two cards this year... Ace had Easton make me a card also. Ace told me that Easton asked him what he was drawing, and Ace said, "a cake and balloons" and Easton said, " I want to color a cake and balloons too!" And he colored this all by himself (except he got a little help with the letters) does it look familiar?

And my birthday present took all these pictures...so I am happy

Overall, a great day! Until next year...
