No Wonder I Was So Uncomfortable!

Every time that Ty is sleeping without being wrapped up, this is what he looks like...

This answers so many questions about what he would do whilst inside of me! I would complain that he felt like he was stretching out in every direction at the same time...although, at the time I didn't realize it was actually possible!

But who could be mad at this cute boy...

Sneaking Out of Bed...

The other night we put Easton to bed. Sometimes we can hear Easton for a little while singing and playing before he actually goes to sleep, but this night we heard nothing. I thought that he had just gone to bed quickly that night. About 1:00 am I had to go in his room to get something for Ty and walked into this...He was about as far away from his bed as you can get, so he couldn't have just fallen out of bed. Plus he had pulled out his aqua-doodle, and brought his blanket and bear with him. He never plays without making noise- he is normally talking to himself. I was so surprised how quiet he was...sneaky boy!

Trip to the Dentist...

Easton went to the dentist for the first time last Friday! I was sure that it was going to be a disaster and that Easton would be too freaked out for them to do anything...I was so wrong! Easton was a little nervous at first, but he didn't fight us, he just sat there and talked to the dentist. The dentist was really good about showing him each tool before she put it in his mouth. My favorite part though was when she introduced the little sucker (the thing that sucks all the gunk out of your mouth). Before she did it she showed it to him and said to me that most kids get a little scared of this, but she put it in his mouth and we watched his little lips shrivel up and then he just started laughing hysterically and loud! She let him hold it and after every single tooth she cleaned he would put it in his mouth and laugh. It took a little longer, but she was able to do a full on cleaning for him, and we are happy to report no cavities for Easton! Ace and I were not so lucky :(

Ty's Blessing

March 1st was Ty's blessing! It was such a great day! Most of our family came down for it so we had quite the full house! Luckily we have some fabulous friends who lent us their vacant house to use for the weekend so everyone had a place to sleep! Thanks Steve & Diana! And thanks to everyone that came down, especially Ace's family who squeezed themselves into one car to make the long drive, it really meant a lot that you were all there!

Easton is 3!

Three years old! I really can't believe how fast he is growing up! Three sounds so old to me-he can't be called a baby anymore and this is the age where he can start T-ball and go to preschool! It seems so weird, but on the other hand, he is so much fun. His comments have become quite funny and it is so fun to see him learn so many new things all the time.

For his birthday we took him to Red Robin for dinner and apparently Red Robin is the place to go on birthdays and Feb. 5 is a popular birthday day because while we were there they sang Happy Birthday to 14 different tables (15 including Easton)

He really enjoyed his Ice Cream Sundae!!

Then that weekend we took him to the Shark Reef with our neighbors Steve, Diana, Ruby, and Levi (I still call them our neighbors even though they moved away!)
He had so much fun we were there for about two and a half hours and we had to pull Easton away from every exhibit.
We came back for Cake and Ice cream

I took Easton and Ty to get their pictures taken for Easton's 3rd birthday and Ty's birth announcement. This is the first time Easton actually smiled at the lady rather than staring at her like she was a psycho the whole time so I am happy!

The Last Two Weeks...

So the last two weeks have been fun and exhausting all at the same time. Our house has been full of family...my mom came the week after Ty was born and was an amazing help cooking, cleaning, and just helping out. Then my sister and my dad came down for the weekend. The week after that most of Ace's family came down. It was a lot of fun to have family around, but this week has been nice to get into some sort of routine again.
